Phil however comes into some shocking information, and decides that he'll be taking matters into his own hands, despite the day being about remembering Lucy.

The Carters are at The Vic preparing things for Lucy's wake, and Dean is prompted into giving his mother another chance with the thoughts of family swirling round.

Their reunion is short-lived however when Stan meddles once more.

EastEnders continues tonight with an hour-long episode, 8-9pm on BBC One.
