It's opening night for Phil and Sharon as they make preparations for a grand party to invite the members of Albert Square through their doors for the first time.

Linda's feeling threatened by the prospect of having competition, taking her frustrations out on her son Johnny, but she soon pushes him too far and is told by her son that she and the rest of the family shouldn't attend.

However, it's not the inter-pub rivalry the Carter family should be worrying about, as they soon discover, and despite Johnny warning them off, they do turn up to support Sharon and Phil in their new venture and their son in his new job.

Causing a scene because she's had too much to drink at the bar, Bianca spills a drink on Whitney after making a show of herself, but Terry understands that there's something more at hand and her behaviour isn't isn't 100% down to her drinking.

Meanwhile, Whitney attempts to fix her broken relationship with Johnny after her failed hopes to woo him on her birthday, but can they be friends once more?

Elsewhere, Max goes for his cancer gene test, leaving Lauren worried, but she's soon cheered up when Lucy shares some great news about the girls' business.
