After finding himself in a compromising position with Nikki, David is caught out despite pulling away when she went in for a kiss, whilst Cora and Stan's relationship goes from strength to strength after she pays him a visit to thank him for his loan, much to Mick and Linda's annoyance.

And the police decide to take Jake in for questioning as they believe they're coming closer to piecing together the events of the night Lucy Beale was murdered, leading to Ian and Peter getting emotional and trying to charge at the suspect as he's led away.
