EastEnders will air some emotional scenes tonight (August 21) as Kathy Beale sees her son Ian for the first time in years, coming into close contact with her offspring by chance when Phil Mitchell's secretive behaviour begins to arouse huge suspicion.
Following Sharon's discovery of Phil's texts from a mystery 'K' on his phone, his wife is worried that he may have found another woman and could be doing the dirty. When Phil angrily grabs his phone back from Sharon, he's forced to make an excuse to rush off when he sees Kathy is waiting for him at St Pancras.
Convinced something strange is afoot, Ian and Sharon team up to follow Phil to the station, hoping to uncover just what it is that he's hiding, but when Sharon finds herself tired of playing games, she confronts Phil before Kathy meets him - will Kathy be exposed whilst under the same roof as her son?
The stress continues to build for Sharon who is now in on the secret that Bobby Beale killed his half-sister Lucy, in a mystery that continues to plague the residents of Albert Square.
Max Branning is currently in police custody, charged with Lucy's murder - could he go down for a crime he never committed?
