Jo's (Roxanne Pallett) worst nightmare comes true when Charlie (Michael Keogh) decides to move in. Jake (James Baxter) is astonished to hear of the development and tells Jo they must go to the police. Jo is reluctant, but after a visit to prison, she comes home to find the police all over Butlers. Jake confesses to calling the police, but Jo is confused when nobody finds Charlie. Later, Charlie reappears and violently attacks Jo, accusing her of calling the police. He issues a warning that if it happens again, Sarah (Sophia Amber Moore) will pay the price. Can Jo escape her impossible situation?Meanwhile, Edna (Shirley Stelfox) discovers Lily (Anne Charleston) back in the village but it's clear that the sisters have no intention of spending time with one another. During a conversation with Pearl (Meg Johnson), Lily is surprised to hear of Edna's accusations about Doug, so Pearl decides to fill her in on the problems they had when Len was alive. At that moment Edna enters and seethes to hear more gossip about her. Lily tries to explain and an argument erupts. Is there any way for the warring siblings to reconcile?Elsewhere, Sam (James Hooton) ignores his family's messages of goodwill as he sets out to do charity work. He talks to Carol (Christine Anderson) about his ongoing problems and she tells Sam that if he ignores his family indefinitely he might as well be in prison. A thoughtful Sam returns home and asks the Dingles if he can eat with them. Can Sam put the past behind him and reunite with Zak (Steve Halliwell) and Lisa (Jane Cox)?
