Tina (Leah Hackett) can barely face Jacqui (Claire Cooper), Tony (Nick Pickard) and Dom (John Pickard) with the knowledge that Russ (Stuart Manning) is actually the father of her baby, and Jacqui's optimism is soon shattered when a tearful Tina finally builds up the courage to tell her that the baby is not Tony's. Beth (Sinead Moynihan) is touched when a suited Gilly (Anthony Quinlan) presents her with a romantic breakfast, but when he rushes off to an interview she turns her attentions to an amorous Rhys (Andrew Moss). As they kiss passionately in the hall, they are unaware that Josh (Sonny Flood) and Michaela (Hollie-Jay Bowes) are about to come in the back door. Kris (Gerard McCarthy) is sceptical when Kieron (Jake Hendriks) insists that he can provide non-judgemental advice on sexuality issues for his radio phone-in, while John Paul (James Sutton) struggles to contain his jealousy over their developing friendship.As Michaela waffles on about their pop duo, Josh is exhausted from a day of her inane chatter, and wonders if he's made the right decision to abandon Fletch (Sam Darbyshire).
