Darren (Ashley Taylor Dawson) is relieved he's got through Jack's (James McKenna) funeral, but has to hide his alarm when Frankie (Helen Pearson) starts getting rid of his things.
Newt (Nico Mirallegro) succumbs to a state of panic. The Valentines unite to help Sasha (Nathalie Emmanuel) get through cold turkey and rid herself of heroin for ever.
Calvin (Ricky Whittle) is horrified when he realises that Warren (Jamie Lomas) has CCTV footage of him buying heroin for Sasha. Steph (Carley Stenson) frantically cleans up ready for the solicitor to arrive to read Max's will, while Cindy (Stephanie Waring) plans how she can spend her inheritance.
Mandy (Sarah Jayne Dunn) and Steph go to The Dog to toast Max, but everyone is left stunned by Cindy's behaviour.
Michaela (Hollie-Jay Bowes) is annoyed when she returns from her journalism placement to find she's missed all of Amy's (Ashley Slanina-Davies) news, but is pleased when she puts together the best article she's ever written.
