Myra (Nicole Barber-Lane) tries to persuade Carmel (Gemma Merna) to go and patch things up with Calvin (Ricky Whittle), but Carmel is still bitter towards her mum and sets off for work instead.
At the police station the atmosphere is icy between Calvin and Carmel, and Mark (Craig Russell) is revelling in it.
Calvin manages to maintain a professional veneer in spite of his clear hatred for Mark, so when Mark asks Calvin to help out on a raid, he agrees in spite of himself.
