Jim Broadbent stars alongside Luke Evans and Martin Compston in tonight's second of two feature length episodes based on the infamous train robbery crime.

Tonight we explore the story of the slumbering police force who awake to the news of one of the biggest heists in history.

There's a frantic scramble to the crime scene at Buckinghamshire CID, and over 65 policemen are on the case of a missing train engine, apparently unaware that any money has even been stolen.

As the scale of the theft comes to the forefront, help is enlisted by the local CID in the form of the best officers from across London, all hoping to form an elite investigation team that will solve the case.

'The Great Train Robbery: A Copper's Tale' airs tonight on BBC One at 8pm.
