Nights out in London: Vinopolis to relaunch this week
London is the place to be this week, what with London Cocktail Week going on, as well as the relaunch of historic venue, Vinopolis, South Bank.
The perfect place for food-fanatics and wine-lovers, Vinopolis is holding a launch party this Friday (12.10.12) to celebrate its multi-million pound refurbishment.
Billed as a '21st century tasting experience', the new look venue boasts five restaurants, a cocktail bar, and micro-brewery. It would make a great evening out for you and a group of friends, as you can relax, celebrate an occasion and, if you want, learn a bit more about the food and drink you're enjoying.
While you're there, check out the brand new Winery room - a fantastic interactive room where visitors can find out about the process of how the wine they are drinking is made. The Geography room is also a fascinating stop, with information that helps to show how climate can affect how wine is made.
Whatever the event you have planned, Vinopolis can provide it, with its five stunning restaurants with very different atmospheres. From the cosy Taste of Vinopolis (a wine bar that offers a break from the bustle of the South Bank outside), to the Cartina Vinopolis (a high-society, fine-dining experience), there's something for everyone in this haven in the busy heart of London.
