Kate Hudson and Bingham, now one

Kate Hudson and Bingham, now one

Kate Hudson, like so many other women, must have felt the pressure to lose her baby weight.

With women in Hollywod dropping it all, and sometimes more, in a matter of weeks it's hard to try and keep up.

The actress faced the pressures to ping back to her post-baby size, but admits that it took a lot of hardwork to get her there.

In an interview with Star magazine she revealed that it was nothing but a lot of effort and sweating it out to get her back to her regular sized body.

The 33-year-old said: "I devoted six hours a day to a vigorous workout regime.

"I would do 45 or 55 minutes of cardio then an hour of Pilates or yoga, three times a day."

The svelte star grew to 13st 2lb by the end of her pregnancy with her second son Bingham, now one.

She likes to keep active with biking, Pilates, dancing and running and knew is that is what it would take to get her back into shapre.

But it wasn't just the hardwork in the gym that saw the blonde beauty drop the pounds. She admits that calorie counting is her top tip, but don't deny yourself everything.

"I love scones, with clotted cream and jam. I can't not eat them," she said.

Whilst most of us don't have the time to workout for six hours a day, a little bit of effort with a workout is going to prove effective in the long run.
