Give your skin the attention it needs

The quest for beauty isn't easy but by eating the right foods you can keep your hair, skin and body looking and feeling great.

Over the Christmas period over-indulging in fatty foods and alcohol can leave you worn out and feeling in need of a boost, so make it your new years resolution to include these ultimate beauty superfoods into your diet and see the results for yourself.

Water
The best way to looking beautiful, drinking plenty of water throughout the day leaves you looking and feeling healthy and vibrant. Being dehydrated leads to dull skin and chapped lips so keep hydreted so skin is refreshed and rejuvenated.

Spinach
Spinach is mix of rich vitamins A, C, magnesium and antioxidants which gives your skin a boost and improves skin elasticity.

Almonds
The ultimate snack food, almonds are cholesterol free and full of calcium, protein and vitamin B giving you naturally shiny skin, hair and nails.

Salmon
Salmon is packed with essential omega 3 fatty acids, good fats, which reduce redness of blotchy skin leaving your complexion with a smooth radiant glow. Other foods containing omega 3 acids are tuna, achoives and avocados.

Asparagus
Asparagus keeps skin youthful and healthy by restoring skin cells, preventing wrinkles and re-building muscle and tissue.

Walnuts
Another source of omega 3 fatty acids, walnuts also contain a good source of vitamin B which helps thicken and condition your hair. Though slightly higher in fat, walnuts are the ultimate superfood for lustrous locks.

Carrots
Low in calories and high in fibre, carrots are the way for a bright white smile. The saliva you produce whilst munching on a carrot helps scrub away stains on your teeth leaving your gums healthy and your teeth pearly white.
