Cleaner ears could mean clearer sound quality for millions of music lovers this summer thanks to a new celebrity campaign.

The initiative called ‘Hear the World’ focuses on the topic of hearing and counts Bryan Adams and Joss Stone amongst its ambassadors.

Through the promotion of music as an essential language of communication, the initiative believes that everyone should be educated about taking care of their ears.

Audiclean, the makers of the ear cleansing wash, believes it has an important role to play in this battle. By helping to reduce the accumulation of earwax, Audiclean is a safe and gentle way to prevent disorders such as ear infections and hearing loss.

It is easy to forget to maintain regular ear hygiene but just as you wash your face and brush your teeth everyday, it is important that you clean your ears as well. The ear is one of the most fragile organs in the human body and needs to be treated with care, avoiding the accumulation of wax, bacteria and dirt.

Cotton buds can be dangerous, often leading to compacted earwax, allergic skin reactions and fungal infections. However half of the British adult population uses cotton buds*, despite the fact that most recognise the dangers and possible problems they can cause.

Syringing, micro-suction and scraping can all lead to ear trauma and softening products can be slow, inefficient and impractical to use.

Used as part of a regular and dedicated grooming routine, Audiclean can help maintain clean and healthy ears - all the better to enjoy the sounds of summer.
