Coleen McLoughlin is a woman after our own hearts.

The stylish girl about town believes in the mantra no pain any gain when it comes to fashion.

Discussing her style, the soon to be 21 year old, said that it is important to feel comfortable in what she wears – but she makes an exception when it comes to shoes.

She said:" There is nothing worse than going out and feeling like you've worn the wrong thing. Work out what suits you and emphasise the body parts you like best."

"The only time I don't stick to that rule is with shoes; as long as they look good they can hurt me all they want."

Coleen is well known for her love of her designer bags and also told the Metro’ you might put on weight or lose weight but you're not going to grow out of a handbag."

" It's something you can invest in."

Coleen knows what she's talking about when it comes to fashion. She is often spotted in the latest designer labels and has even appeared on the front cover of Vogue.

But it is her love of high street shops that makes her such a style icon. She recently signed a £3 million deal with George at Asda and is well known for her eye for affordable catwalk style.

Coleen plans to marry fiance Wayne Rooney next summer follwing Euro 2008. Wayne is rumoured to have popped the question at a petrol station forecourt back in October 2003.

Earlier this year Coleen was spotted sporting a new specially designed diamond and platinum engagement ring. The original £25,000 Tiffany ring is reported to have been thrown into a squirrel sanctuary when she found out about Wayne's visits to Liverpool prostitutes in 2002.
