Heidi Klum, Miley Cyrus, Helen Mirren and Anne Hathaway looked red hot at last night's Oscars as they showed up in totally different but equally gorgeous scarlet creations.
The Oscars were a bit last minute this year because of the writer's strike so a low key effort was predicted on the fashion front with plenty of classic Little Black Dresses. But not everyone played it so safe with some of the biggest stars making a bold statement in bright red.
Dame Helen Mirren always looks fab and last night was now exception. She wore a a beautiful Georges Chakra gown with elegantlace and diamond sleeves.
Miley Cyrus showed maturity beyond her teen years in a stunning fitted Valentino gown. She's definitely a red carpet queen in the making.
Heidi Klum went couture in a striking red Dior gown with full length fish tail skirt and ruched shoulder and neck for full on glamour. Would we expect anything less from the world's hottest supermodel?
Katherine Heigl kept it simple with a figure hugging off the shoulder Escada dress that showed off her gorgeous curves perfectly. The look was finished off with sexy Marilyn Monroe style curls.
Anne Hathaway a gown by red carpet favourites Marchessa. The deep red floaty chiffon gown was bang on the summer trend with ruffle embellishment on one shoulder.
Julie Christie opted for the darkest shade of red in a simple ruched shift dress. She looks fab for her years but we're not sure about the pink gloves and matching shoes. Pink and red is a bizarre combination.
