Little Black Dress
We all know how valuable our Little Black Dresses are to us but now a fashion museum is calling for them for a exhibition.
The Fashion & Textile Museum in London is launching a new exhibition all about our favourite wardrobe item and is calling on local residents to send in pictures of their own Little Black Dresses.
"We want to know about your favourite dress," says a museum spokeswoman. "Be it cocktail or classic, sexy or chic, let us take a look."
The exhibition Little Black Dress will run this summer(19 June – 25 August) and will also include a selection of top designer LBDs.
The show will also feature Londoners' favourite dresses and the curators are currently looking for possible additions to the exhibition.
If you have a cherished LBD from the 1930s to the present day, contact the Fashion & Textile Museum. They also want to know the stories and personal history behind your favourite dress.
