A little over a month remains until the massively anticipated epic Avengers: Endgame is released. If you’re anything like me, saying I’m excited is an understatement. With Captain Marvel gracing our screens last week, Endgame sits brightly on the horizon, especially now that the second trailer dropped this week. So, will the Avengers reverse the dreaded snap, with “whatever it takes”? Please take a look at the five things we should see in Avengers: Endgame!

1. Time travel

There have been many leaks and rumours concerning certain members of the Avengers wearing ‘quantum suits’, similar to the ones Hank Pym has in Antman and The Wasp. We know that the Quantum Realm houses the possibility of time travel and now that the second trailer has dropped, we see the Avengers wearing these rumoured suits. So, will we see the Avengers traversing the Quantum Realm and travelling back in time to halt Thanos from the get-go? It seems likely; time travel seems to be the forerunner in being the method to stop the mad titan’s decimation of the universe.

2. Return of the dusted

Many of Marvel’s prolific superhero’s bit the dust in Infinity War. Spider-Man, Black Panther, Doctor Strange... It would be pretty stupid to kill off such profitable names and characters. We’ve even got a second Spider-Man film due after Endgame. Hold your tears, I’m pretty sure we’ll see our favourite heroes being revived and revitalised in time to kick some titan ass. Just don't expect EVERYONE to make it out alive...

3. One huge battle

Following from our last point, the return of the dusted could see one of the best cinematic events in history. A massive battle between every single hero in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and Thanos’ forces. With both new and old faces in the Avengers roster, a battle of the ages will likely unfold as Earth’s mightiest heroes take down their biggest foe yet. I’ve got goosebumps!

4. The end of an era

Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end. With contracts expiring and new ones being signed, our veteran heroes might have to pass the torch to the newbies. May it be through death or retirement, we can expect to see the end of either Tony, Steve or Thor. I’m not crying, you’re crying...

5. Links to the future

With the film being the end of the third phase of the MCU, we can expect to see a glimpse of the future in Endgame. May it be in the form of the mid-credits scene or a cameo, we could see a potential future villain or a snippet into Spider-Man: Far From Home. The future remains bountiful and rich for the MCU, so I look forward to the many films to come!
