There's just three more days before Spy hits the big screen and it is set to be one of the biggest comedy hits of the summer.

Spy

Spy

Spy is a summer movie that I really have been looking forward to as it looks laugh out loud funny as well as an action packed ride.

I am a big fan of Melissa McCarthy and Spy sees her reunite with director Paul Feig for their third project together - they have already enjoyed huge success with Bridesmaids and The Heat in recent years.

And McCarthy features in this great new clip for the film alongside Jude Law - she brings a new meaning to 'cleansing your palette.'

McCarthy takes on the role of Susan Cooper - a CIA analyst who desperately wants to be in the field... when she gets her chance she grabs it with both hands.

McCarthy also reunites with Bridesmaids co-star Rose Byrne, while Law, Jason Statham, Allison Janney, Miranda Hart, Morena Baccarin, and Bobby Cannavale are all also on board.

We are not use to seeing Statham tackle a comedy role - Feig revealed earlier this year that he had been trying to work with the British actor for some time.

Susan Cooper (McCarthy) is an unassuming, deskbound CIA analyst, and the unsung hero behind the Agency's most dangerous missions. But when her partner (Law) falls off the grid and another top agent (Statham) is compromised, she volunteers to go deep undercover to infiltrate the world of a deadly arms dealer, and prevent a global disaster.

There are a handful of comedy movies set to hit the big screen over the summer period but Spy looks set to be the biggest hit. Feig has brought us some great movies during his career and it is always exciting when he returns to the director's chair.

Spy is released 5th June.
