Catherine Tate

Catherine Tate has added to the cast list of Gulliver's Travels.

The comedy actress, who took on the role of Donna Noble in the last series of BBC's Doctor Who, will join fellow British actress Emily Blunt and Jack Black.

Also joining the cast is The IT Crowd's Chris O'Dowd who will take on the role of Edward, the fiance of Blunt's princess.

Tate has landed the role of Queen of Lilliput.

The film is an adaptation of Jonathan Swift's novel that follows the arrival of Gulliver on an island full of tiny people. The film will be directed by Rob Letterman and is expected to reach cinemas in 2010.

This isn't the first film role of Tate after she appeared in Starter for 10, Sixty Six and Scenes of a Sexual Nature.

O'Down is also joining some movie success as he is set to star in The Boat That Rocked and Frequently Asked Questions About Time Travel next month.
