Ed Asner is set to reteam with the animated mastermind behind his hit film Up to make a new movie set in prehistoric times.
 
Asner will add his voice skills to Pixar's new dinosaur movie.
 
The casting was announced at the Disney D23 Expo 2011 in Anaheim, California on Saturday (20Aug11).
 
Bob Peterson, who co-directed and voiced Dug the dog in Up, will direct the new 2013 movie, which will explore the notion that dinosaurs were wiped out when a giant asteroid hit the earth.
 
Peterson told fans, "In this film, the asteroid missed the earth and dinosaurs continued to live."
 
It is not clear which character Asner, who played grumpy adventurer Carl Fredricksen in Up, will voice.
