Pirates And Spider-man Sequels Shamed.... The new Pirates Of The Caribbean and Spider-Man movies have been voted among the worst sequels ever made, by an online poll.Highlander II topped the poll, compiled by Moviehole.net - but it's more embarrassing for the new releases, which feature in 12th and 15th places respectively.After Highlander, Batman And Robin came second, Superman IV third, The Exorcist II fourth and Matrix Reloaded/Revolutions fifth.Moviehole editor Clint Morris says, "Bottom line: Sequels - even bad ones - sell. They make money, loads of it. And that's why we're starting to see a whole bunch of disappointing sequels and so on. If studios already project the high returns on the film they're not going to go to any extra special effort to make sure they're actually good."
