Robin Williams

Robin Williams has revealed that he would love to appear in the third Batman movie.

Director Christopher Nolan has begun working on the script for the movie and Williams has admitted that he would love to take on the role of The Riddler.

Speaking to Showbiz Spy the actor said: "I would do Batman in a second.

"I’d play The Riddler in the next one, although it would be hard to top Heath Ledger as the villain and I’m a little hairy for tights."

Is is still unknown which villain Batman will be facing in the third instalment of the franchise but actors such as Eddie Murphy, Johnny Depp and Joseph Gordon Levitt have all be linked to the role of The Riddler.

We last saw Batman on the big screen back in 2008 when The Dark Kingh was a critical and commercial smash as it took over $1 billion at the box office and saw Heath Ledger pick up a Best Supporting Actor Oscar for his performance as the Joker.

As for Williams he will be once again lending his voice to the characters of Lovelace and Ramon in Happy Feet 2 while he also has The Prince of Providence and Wedding Banned in the pipeline.
