It is always exciting when a Pixar film is on the horizon... not only are you going to get a great feature film, but we are also treated to a wonderful short film as well.
Piper is the next short film from the studio and it will play in from of Finding Dory this summer - and it looks like it is going to be another super-cute creation from Pixar.
We are going to have to wait until the end of July to see it, but two fantastic new stills from Piper have been released.
The short film sees Alan Barillaro in the director's chair as he makes the leap into filmmaking for the first time.
Barillaro is no stranger to the world of Pixar, having worked on the likes of Finding Nemo, The Incredibles, and Brave as directing animator and supervising animator.
Piper tells the story of a hungry sandpiper hatchling who ventures from her nest for the first time to dig for food by the shoreline.
The only problem is, the food is buried beneath the sand where scary waves roll up onto the shore.
Pixar really has delivered some truly wonderful short movies over the years and Piper really does look on course to be another gem.
Piper will play in front of Finding Dory, which is released 29th July.
