The Inbetweeners 2 makes it a second week at the top of the UK box office.

The Inbetweeners 2 took a further £4.3 million over the weekend, to comfortably hold off the challenge from Guardians of the Galaxy and The Expendables.

This latest instalment of the hit comedy has taken over £20 million in the U.K alone.

There was also no change at two as Guardians of the Galaxy also continued to perform well: it grossed over £2.1 million over the weekend.

The Expendables 3 was this week's highest new entry as it opened at number three.

The movie sees the likes of Sylvester Stallone & Jason Statham return, while Harrison Ford & Mel Gibson were some of the new faces on board.

Dawn of the Planet of the Apes was down one at four, while How To Train Your Dragon 2 was also a none-mover at five.

Secret Cinema's Back to the Future stayed put at six, while Planes 2: Fire and Rescue was down three places from four to seven.

The Nut Job was also a one place faller this week at eight, while Hector and the Search for Happiness was the second and final new entry at nine.

Hercules rounded off the top ten this week, falling two places from last week's number eight.
