While there are undoubtably some brilliant features releasing into cinemas this year (2022), we can’t forget the movies, both old and new, that are making their way to streaming platforms. Here are some of the best movies releasing onto Netflix next month (April, 2022), from Originals to family-friendly flicks.

The Bubble - April 1st

Netflix welcomes The Bubble to its platform on April 1st. The film is a comedy that follows a group of actors and actresses who are trapped inside a pandemic bubble at a hotel, all the while attempting to finish a movie.

The Bubble stars Karen Gillan, Fred Armisen, Leslie Mann, Pedro Pascal, Keegan-Michael Key, and more.

Captain Nova - April 1st

Another new release for April 1st is Captain Nova, a unique family flick. It centres on a fighter pilot from a desolate future, who unexpectedly turns into her younger self while travelling back in time in an attempt to avoid global catastrophe.

Dancing on Glass - April 8th

Dancing on Glass will land on Netflix on April 8th, and follows a ballerina who is burdened with heavy pressure in a new lead role. She and a fellow dancer, however, escape into a friendship that separates them from the real world.

Choose or Die - April 15th

Choose or Die, another Netflix Original, sees two friends who are tempted by a chance at winning a sum of money. They reboot an old video game from the 1980s, and are horrified at what next-level terrors come from their decision.

Battle Kitty - April 19th

Battle Kitty is an upcoming family feature about a young feline who must defeat every enemy on Battle Island in order to be crowned champion. This is a unique, interactive journey from Matt Layzell.

Along for the Ride - April 22nd

Along for the Ride sees two insomniacs make acquaintances, and, while their seaside town sleeps, the pair set the goal of allowing each other to experience a fun, carefree life that they weren't even sure was possible.

Silverton Siege - April 27th

Silverton Siege is an upcoming feature, based on the true story of events that occurred in Africa in 1980. A trio of freedom fighters get into a complex situation after a bank heist goes very wrong.
