The X Factor

The X Factor has already gotten off to a bad start after show bosses admitted to using auto-tune to improve the quality of contestants' voices.

It's a known fact that a lot of pop stars turn to auto-tune to gloss over any missed or dropped notes, giving the impression that they have a fantastically flawless voice, but when it's used on something like the X Factor, isn't it all a bit misleading?

According to The X Factor's production team, auto-tuning is only used during the editing process to ensure a better experience for the viewers and they insist that the judges' decision are based solely on what they hear live in the auditions.

Obviously some fans reckon many of the auditionees are that good, they don't even need autotuning, whilst others worry that the technology will mask the rubbish singers voices.

It's all a bit dramatic for a Monday morning if you ask me, but what do YOU make of it all?
