John and Edward Grimes said their goodbyes to The X Factor last night after the judges sent the pair packing.
The twins - who have been dubbed Jedward - have had a rocky time during the live X factor shows after remaining in the competition whilst incredible acts such as Lucie Jones and Jamie Archer had to wave goodbye to their dreams of fame.
However, it seems the boys run of good luck finally came to an end yesterday when they found themselves in the sing-off with show favourite Olly Murs. Whilst the boys pulled out a great performance of Boyzone's hit No Matter What - kudos to Louis for promoting two of his acts in one go there.
But in the end it came down to Dannii Minogue and Cheryl Cole having to make the decision as to who left, and to be honest, we thought Dannii would use the chance to get revenge on Simon Cowell who took the voting to deadlock and ultimately sent Lucie Jones home when she faced Jedward in the sing-off.
After the verdict, John told presenter Dermot O'Leary: "It's been kind of crazy, but Olly deserves to go though. I hope he and Stacey (Solomon) go all the way. We've been here week after week - singing live on TV. It's been amazing."
