No, No, No, No, No! I can’t actually believe what I’m hearing…. Apparently Simon Cowell has decided on the two possible songs which will be released as ‘the winners single’ and guess who sang one of them earlier in the serious… only Joe McElderry!
I can’t believe it! I mean, what is Simon playing at? Fair enough Joe is still the bookies' favourite to win the show (God only knows why) but why would Simon want the winner to sing classic Journey's hit Don't Stop Believin' as their first release when Joe already nailed it?
Now don’t get me wrong, I can appreciate that Joe is a better singer than say john And Edward and Lloyd, but I just don’t get him… he looks like he belongs in Butlins, and I’m telling you, if he wins I WILL NOT watch the show next year.
So, as Simon is thought to want either that or The Climb from Disney's Hannah Montana (really?) as the debut single for the champ, isn’t it a bit unfair that Joe has already had a chance to perform it? Especially since everyone went crazy last year when Hallelujah was chosen as the winners song after Diana Vickers had sung it at Boot Camp (not that it did her any good anyway)
So, which would you like to see as the winners song? And most importantly, who would you like to see singing it?
