Party capital of the world

Party capital of the world

Monday

Every Monday in the summer season the 3,000 capacity club, Pacha, is taken over by Swedish House Mafia. Not only is the set top notch but the club itself is well worth a visit. If you’re into the more hardcore dance scene then head down to DC10 for Circo Loco. Eden hosts the Nuts in Ibiza bar crawl, you guessed it, sponsored by Nuts Magazine. Basically the general idea is to allow the ladies to go for free, including a few free drinks, with the assumption that that lads will follow. The only condition is that you wear a Nuts branded t-shirt and agree to be pictured by their photographer for their website. Just to give you even more options to chose from, Cocoon at Amnesia is a favourite with regular Ibiza goers, while world famous DJ Tiesto gets his hands on the decks at Privilige, the world’s biggest club.

Tuesday

Tuesday’s are all about Ibiza Rocks, the brand, which is recognised worldwide, brings you famous faces from all over the world, followed by the official Ibiza Rocks Afterparty at Es Paradis. While over the road Eden plays host to Garlands, a night which originated in Liverpool. Pukka Up send their boats out into the sea on Tuesday evenings to watch the sunset whilst listening to the latest dance music, followed by Carl Cox at Space as the afterparty, and all included in just one ticket price.

Wednesday

Clubland set up home in San Antonio’s, Es Paradis every Thursday while next door at Eden their night Reclaim the Dancefloor is a crowd pleaser week on week. In 2010 Reclaim hosted big names such as Radio 1 DJ Annie Mac and Pendulum. Zoo Project is an experience like no other. The night takes place in an old abandoned zoo a short taxi ride from San Antonio, so while you’re most likely dressed in animal print and dancing in what used to be the seal pit, it’s quite difficult to get your head around.

Thursday

Thursday is definitely the toughest night to decide which event to attend, if you’ll only be on the island for one Thursday you’ve got your work cut out. Pukka Up boat party goes for a more indie feel on a Thursday in comparison to its Tuesday boat. The legendary David Guetta runs the night at Pacha with his very own night F**k Me I’m Famous, while the renowned music brand Cream take over at Amnesia. A brand new night for 2010 was GLAS at Es Paradis, it took off well and the success looks set to continue into 2011. For a different vibe head down to Eden in San Antonio for their R&B night, Twice as Nice.

Friday

Unless you fancy listening to Spanish dance music at Privilige, then there’s only one real choice for your Friday night entertainment, Wonderland at Eden. Wonderland is run by radio DJ Pete Tong who often brings someone along to lend him a hand with the tune spinning.

Saturday

Zoo Project runs on a Saturday as well as a Wednesday, meaning you have chance to go again if you liked it that much the first time round. Alternatively, head down to Privilige for their night, Saturday Night Project or world famous Hedkandi at San Antonio’s own Es Paradis.

Sunday

God said Sunday was to be a day of rest. Well not in Ibiza. We Love Space, you guessed it, at Space invited various DJs to get their hands on the club’s decks while the famous Radio 1 DJ, Judge Jules and his celebrity buddies rock Sunday nights at Eden. It’s a tough call to pick between these two beauties to end your week
