Are you fed up of hearing the same alarm sound that wakes you in a morning and want to try something a little different?

Chessington World of Adventures Resort is to trial an ‘Animal Wake Up Call’ initiative to celebrate the launch of the brand new Chessington Azteca Hotel, which is opening its doors to the public on 11th August 2014.

Based on the understanding that the sound of nature is amongst us Brits' favourite thing to wake up to, guests are set to receive a completely personal wake up call, being awoken by animals from the Resort upon request, in order to give them a truly wild experience.

Adding further credence to Chessington's status as 'Britain's Wildest Adventure', trainers at Chessington World of Adventures Resort have been busy teaching Mojo the macaw a number of fun and immersive ways to wake guests up. In fact clever Mojo can even impersonate some of his fellow Zoo- mates including the sealions and lions! With a menu of sound effects to choose from, courtesy of Mojo, guests can opt for knocks on the door, hellos, squawking, laughter, whistling, sneezing, blowing kisses and even burping!

With macaws being accompanied by a Zoo Keeper, the experience provides amazing one-on-one meet and greet interactions, brightening up mornings before guests have even stepped on the park, and with the Zoo keeper on hand to answer any questions the guest may have about them, it’s sure to be a morning wakeup call like no other!

Linda Berggren, Supervisor of Animal Training at Chessington World of Adventures Resort, commented: "Our new Azteca Hotel will offer visitors an interactive experience like no other. With views from the bedroom windows looking out onto a whole host of our amazing animals roaming right outside, this hotel is truly unique and offers a real sense of getting close to nature whilst also transporting you into a whole new mystical world. By getting some of our fantastically talented trained animals on board to help greet guests, we’re taking this already up close and personal experience even further. We hope those who stay with us feel immersed in the wonderful nature around them."

Set across three superbly themed floors, the new themed Chessington Azteca Hotel gives guests the chance to explore the mysteries of the ancient Aztec temple ruins, with 69 spectacular rooms overlooking amazing animals.
