Last week, we took a look at some of the most memorable lip syncs in RuPaul's Drag Race herstory! With such a wealth of material to go through, and a whole series of mini challenges that have cemented a place in the series' legacy, we've now decided to look back and pick out some of the best-performing queens in the library reads challenge.

7. Eureka O'Hara (RuPaul's Drag Race Season 10)

Though she had to bow out of Season 9 early because of an injury, Eureka made an impressive return in Season 10, and took home the mini challenge crown for the reading challenge. Nobody could really stand up against her, despite it being such an impressive cast, and the self-read at the end of her library session really put the cherry on top.

Some of our favourite library reads include:

  • [to Aquaria] "Aquaria, I love your confidence. You're always telling yourself how you're beautiful, how you're talented, how you're gonna win... You're also a pathological liar."
  • [to Kameron Michaels] "Kameron Michaels, I don't really have a read for you. Please, just f**k me. Please, just f**k me!"
  • [to himself] "Thnk you all so much. I can't wait to hear your reads about me being fat."

6. Bob The Drag Queen (RuPaul's Drag Race Season 8)

Bob is a comedy queen, through and through, so this mini challenge was her's to lose. She didn't disappoint, using intelligence and wit to deliver some of the longest, but most impressive mini challenge reads of all time.

Some of our favourite library reads include:

  • [to Naomi Smalls] "Naomi Shambles. I find it amazing you have 11 brothers and sisters and no one loved you enough to tell you not to wear those shoes on national TV. She's so skinny, she has to run around in the shower just to get wet. She's so skinny she can look through the peep hole with both eyes."
  • [to Kim Chi] "Kim Queef. How would I describe your teeth? 'Thuthpicious.'"
  • [to Derrick Barry] "It is a known fact that Derrick Barry is not very smart. When she heard Britney Spears, she said, 'Does she? I prefer fencing.'"

5. BenDeLaCreme (RuPaul's Drag Race: All Stars Season 3)

Seeing BenDeLaCreme return for All Stars was a massive treat for any Drag Race fan, and whilst we were devastated to see her self-elimination halfway through the season, we understood her reasoning. Fortunately, she left us with enough legendary content to cement her status as one of the best Drag Race competitors ever.

Some of our favourite library reads include:

  • [to Thorgy Thor] "Oh Thorgy, I love this full outfit. I usually only get to see about this much [gestures to her face] when you're handing out balloons from that sewer grate."
  • [to BeBe Zahara Benet] "I hear that this is the year that you might get two crowns. Which is really not a lot of dental work as far as those early seasons are concerned."
  • [to Morgan McMichaels] "Phoenix. Oh, I'm sorry, Nicola Paige Bro... Uh... Pass."

4. Alaska (RuPaul's Drag Race: All Stars Season 2)

In an All Stars season she would eventually go on to win, Alaska smashed the competition out of the park with a string of hammer blows. Though she would cause controversy with her offer of $10,000 to Detox in exchange to stick around for another week, let's face facts: she was the most impressive contestant from start to finish, and deserved the title.

Some of our favourite library reads include:

  • [to Adore Delano] "Adore Delano, these other girls are gonna say you have terrible makeup skills, you have no fashion sense, and you're dumb as a rock. But they're wrong! You don't have terrible makeup skills."
  • [to Roxxxy Andrews] "Roxxxy Andrews, obviously a diet consisting of nothing but hatred for Jinkx Monsoon does a body good!"
  • [to Alyssa Edwards] "Alyssa Edwards, whoever said everything's bigger in Texas has obviously never seen your d**k. But you know what they have seen? Your body."

3. Jujubee (RuPaul's Drag Race Season 2)

One of the earliest standouts in Drag Race history, Jujubee won the first ever library reads mini challenge, showing her fellow queens how shade should be done following some less-than-impressive offerings.

Some of our favourite library reads include:

  • [to Tyra Sanchez] "Miss Tyra, was your barbecue cancelled? Your grill is f**ked up."
  • [to Raven] "And you! Legendary, you think you are. Legendary? Looks like leg and dairy!"
  • [to Tatianna] "And, Miss Tatianna, Miss Honey. You think you're so soft. Not by the hairs of your chinny chin chin."

2. Darienne Lake (RuPaul's Drag Race Season 6)

She may not have won much of the audience over with her villain edit during Season 6, but there's no denying the comedic talent brought to the table by Darienne Lake. She's a queen we'd love to see make a return for an All Stars season of the future, with a redemption arc in play not dissimilar to the one we saw for Roxxxy Andrews in All Stars Season 2.

Some of our favourite library reads include:

  • [to Adore Delano] "Adore Delano, I'm going to say this very slowly so you can understand... You're dumb."
  • [to Laganja Estranja] "Laganja! You're not yourself today. I noticed the improvement immediately."
  • [to BenDeLaCreme] "You remind me of a Russian doll! Full, of, yourself."

1. Alaska (RuPaul's Drag Race Season 5)

It's her second entry into our list, and for good reason. Alaska has proven herself to be the library reading mini challenge assassin of Drag Race, delivering the smackdown on her fellow queens with ease. Whether she's shading their lack of Miss USA titles, or the amount of silicone in their bodies, she got some huge laughs when she took the opportunity to get brutal in Season 5.

Some of our favourite library reads include:

  • [to Detox] "Detox, you're so seductive, but unfortunately it's illegal to do it with you because most of your parts are under 18 years of age."
  • [to Coco Montrese] "Coco Montrese, I don't know why everyone keeps calling you old. How old are you? I'd say you look somewhere between 40 and death!"
  • [to Alyssa Edwards] "Alyssa Edwards, Miss US- oh wait."
