Heidi’s wedding plans are in full swing, and it’s set to be the most extravagant wedding imaginable.  As Spencer’s sister Stephanie pushes for the title of Maid of Honour, she’s shocked when Heidi chooses her estranged sister, Holly, for the role.  However, Stephanie isn’t going to let it go that easily, and waits patiently on the sidelines for Holly to mess up.

A changed Spencer knows he has many relationships to re-build if the wedding is going to go smoothly.  After his failed apology to Lauren, he still has to try to rectify things with Heidi’s mother.  But after all they’ve been through, will she ever be able to give the couple her blessing? 

Meanwhile, Lauren and her housemate Lo are packing up their belongings and preparing to say goodbye to their home in The Hills.  The pair have been through so much since moving in, and when Lo suggests a farewell party it seems right to go out with bang.

Despite having a party to plan, Lauren has a big decision to make about what to do with her future and decides to speak to her boss, Kelly Cutrone for advice.  Kelly advises her to do nothing for a while and assures her something good will come along.  For Lauren, who has never been without plan, it seems like the perfect solution.

As Heidi and Spencer’s big day arrives, The Hills gang wait in the church to see if Lauren will change her mind and attend the ceremony.  Just as Heidi is about to walk down the aisle, Lauren shows up wanting a heart-to-heart with her.  Will anything Heidi has to say persuade her ex-best friend to step inside the church and witness the happiest day of her life?

In The Hills: The Wedding Special, Heidi and Spencer host a revealing half-hour special on the behind-the-scenes drama of their recent “dream” wedding. The new Mr. and Mrs. Pratt present candid interviews with the cast of The Hills, exclusive never before seen footage, and a glimpse at the media frenzy surrounding the wedding of the year.
