The 63-year-old host famously lost himself in fits of laughter over the skier's name during an episode of the ITV quiz show, and he has been confronted by her at midnight in a joke for 'Michael McIntyre's Big Show'.

A source told The Sun newspaper: "As if he weren’t bewildered enough by being woken by Michael and the crew, he suddenly finds himself face to face with Fanny.”

Bradley was asleep in his hotel room when he got pulled from his bed by the skier 12 years after he was crying with laughter over her moniker.

The insider added: “He finds himself a surprise participant in the Midnight Gameshow on Michael’s hit show and as part of the experience he is suddenly confronted by the skier.

“As if he weren’t bewildered enough by being dragged from his slumber by McIntyre and the film crew he suddenly finds himself face to face with Fanny.”

The 37-year-old German skier is there in person for the prank, which was reportedly set up by Bradley's son barney and wife Donna.

The infamous 2011 clip - which has been viewed more than three million times - saw the host laughing as a contestant was asked "In what sport does Fanny Chmelar compete for Germany?"

Even chaser 'The Governess' Anne Hegarty couldn't stop herself from giggling, while she and quizzer Brynn Jones both incorrectly guessed she was a horse rider.

Bradley previously revealed he actually cheated to get the ITV show on air after betting producers he could beat one of the chasers to prove the contestants would stand a chance.

He told 'Capital Breakfast with Roman Kemp': "What they didn't realise was the sheets with the questions and the answers on were lying face down on my end of the desk, I could see the print through and I could read the answers backwards and I read them.

"So every time they come in on the head to head as if they were at the table, I’d smash both of them.

"And as I walked away, I took the piece of paper and put it on the the other table so no one saw it. So I'd actually cheated."
