We’re less than a week into the new series of Love Island, but it seems that the drama is already at a high, especially where the boys are concerned.
After pulling Gemma for a chat on the terrace last night, Luca is in Davide’s firing line. "I hear you're p****d off that I took Gemma for a chat," Luca says, before Davide responds: "I am not p****d off you took Gemma for a chat; why did you not come and tell me? At least have the balls to come and tell me, 'Oh look Davide, I fancy her'."
Luca points out: "It's not that I've not got the balls, we are in the same villa, you're going to see it aren't you." Whether the two can put this disagreement behind them remains to be seen!
The Islanders also find out in tonight’s (June 10th, 2022) episode that the first recoupling of the series is going to be taking place, with the girls in danger of being sent home due to there being more of them around than the men.
When Liam then decides to gather the Islanders around the fire pit, before revealing that he will be leaving the show, they then come to the realisation that two of them could be headed out of the door before their journey has even really begun.
Afia realises she's not spoken to Ikenna as much as she would like, and so says to him: "I just wanted to see where your head's at, I've never actually even asked you if you would ever be interested in me." She's not too impressed however, when he appears to avoid the question.
Ekin-Su remains firmly locked onto Davide meanwhile, and the two continue working out together in the garden. Playfully popping her onto his shoulders, Davide leaves Ekin-Su gushing in the Beach Hut: "Oh Davide, the workout was intense, can I get a fan? It's getting hot in here."
