Inspired by the short 1980s series of the same name, the fictional story of Ruth Wilder comes to Netflix subscribers later this month with GLOW. Starring Alison Brie in the leading role as Ruth, we’ll see her character compete with former soap actress Debbie Eagan (Betty Gilpin) who left the business to have a baby, only to be brought straight back when her life turns out to be less perfect than expected.

Marc Maron sits at the helm as Sam Sylvia, a washed-up B-movie director who tries to reinvigorate his own career along with that of the ladies he’s hoping to reinvent as ‘Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling’.
