Ola Jordan threatened to quit 'Strictly Come Dancing' last week after being "bullied" by fellow dancer Karen Hauer.

The blonde stunner - whose husband James Jordan is also a dancer on the show - left rehearsals in tears on Monday (28.10.13) after brunette beauty Karen allegedly launched a "nasty" verbal attack on her rival in which she claimed the 31-year-old star is a "rubbish dancer", leaving Ola "deeply upset".

A source told the Sunday People newspaper: "The dancers were on a break from rehearsing and Ola's husband had popped out of the studio to get some fresh air when Karen approached Ola and began saying nasty things.

"She told her she was a rubbish dancer and that was why she was always put at the back of the stage, even though that's not true.

"Ola doesn't know if it's jealousy or what but it was horrible.

"It was a totally unprovoked verbal ¬attack and Ola was very, very upset and felt she was being bullied.

"Ola says that Karen had already said some stuff to her earlier that day and in previous weeks.

"But this really hurt as it was said in front of most of the other professionals and was questioning Ola's ability.

"Karen was held back by Pasha [Kovalev] who was trying to calm the situation down. It was all quite nasty."

Following Karen's comments, Ola - who is partnered by 'Hollyoaks' hunk Ashley Taylor Dawson on the show - was comforted by her husband James, and she told him: "I can't do it any more. I'm not strong enough to be spoken to like that."

However, 'Strictly' bosses called a crisis meeting between Ola and Karen, in which the Venezuelan beauty - who is partnered by 'Hairy Bikers' chef Dave Myers - apologised and the pair agreed to put the matter behind them.

Ola then told show bosses she will remain on the programme because she doesn't want to let Ashley down.

A ¬spokesman for Ola said: "On Monday 28th October, Karen Hauer verbally ¬attacked Ola during group pro training.

"Ola did continue with her training as she couldn't let her partner Ashley, or the show down.

"The BBC handled the matter and Karen has now apologised to Ola."

A BBC spokesperson added: "Regrettably there was an argument between professional dancers Karen Hauer and Ola Jordan on Monday, but the matter has been resolved and apologies accepted by all parties.

"Karen has apologised to Ola for the incident, agreed to put it behind them and they continue to work together in the group dances."

Meanwhile, on last night's (02.11.13) show, former 'Coronation Street' actress Natalie Gumede scored an impressive 38 points out of 40 - the highest score from anyone so far this series, including two perfect 10s - for her Halloween-inspired Viennese Waltz.
