Reports are claiming that hit film franchise Scream will hit the small screen this summer.
Last year, Wes Craven confirmed he had given the go ahead for a pilot to be made based on the quadrilogy series of films, but he'd only let it get to fans and viewers at home if it was up to a good standard.
It was previously claimed that the television series would take a supernatural direction, but now that Scream 5 is being pushed for by the Weinstein Brothers, that's said to no longer be the case, and the show should now be connected to the movies and lead into the final movie Scream 5.
The first series promo is reportedly scheduled to air during the season finale of Teen Wolf.
Whether any of this comes to fruition is still to see, but I'm just hoping they do the franchise justice.
