Susanna Reid has stated that she wouldn't ever leave the BBC.

The 43-year-old TV presenter has shrugged off reports she is to ditch her BBC 'Breakfast' show role to front ITV's 'Daybreak' following speculation the TV channel has expressed an interest in her as a result of her success on the ballroom dancing show.

Speaking to the Daily Mirror newspaper, she said: "If you cut me open I would bleed BBC. I said when BBC 'Breakfast' moved to Salford that the BBC runs through me like a stick of rock - and nothing has changed."

ITV bosses were reportedly keen to offer the brunette beauty a staggering £500,000-a-year deal to join their team, while Channel 5 were also showing an interest in her.

However, the BBC are determined to keep Susanna with them and are looking into ways to make her life easier while she works for them, like making sure she travels to the studio in comfort, and offering her a chance to star in some primetime TV shows.

An insider said: "We've worked with Susanna for many years and want that to continue.

"We are ready to offer her some generous incentives to show Susanna how well she is thought of on the 'Breakfast' show.

"We will be looking at things like making life more comfortable for Susanna when she travels."

The arising opportunities on offer for Susanna could mean that she will be able to spend more time in London with her partner Dominic Cotton and their three sons, Sam, 11, Finn, nine, and Jack, eight.
