Vanessa Feltz was booted off 'Strictly Come Dancing' last night (13.10.13).

The 51-year-old TV presenter became the second celebrity to be eliminated from the BBC One show after all four judges, Craig Revel Horwood, Darcey Bussell, Bruno Tonioli and Len Goodman, decided to send her home following her dance-off with fashion designer Julien Macdonald.

Following the verdict, Vanessa - who was partnered by professional dancer James Jordan - said: "I'm disappointed because it was a great, great pleasure to be part of the programme.

"It was so much fun, and so enjoyable, and so great. So of course I'm sad, and I would have liked to have stayed as long as possible, but it wasn't to be obviously which is a big shame.

"I think I was probably due to leave ... If there had been one more week, or two more weeks, I think that would have been my limit.

"I don't think it's a great personal tragedy. I was never exactly set to win the show, was I? Let's face it."

Vanessa and James performed a Tango to Abba's 'Lay All Your Love on Me' in the dance-off, and she thought she had a good chance of remaining in the competition as it was Julien's second consecutive week in the bottom two.

She said: "We thought maybe we would just dance for our lives and we might be saved by the judges, but we were wrong."

Despite sending Vanessa home, Len admitted her dance-off performance was an improvement on her previous Tango.

He said: "Funnily enough Vanessa, I thought you danced a little better in that second dance, however I would have gone for Julien and Janette."

The show also featured a guest appearance by Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli, who sang 'When I Fall in Love', and co-host Sir Bruce Forsyth returned for the Saturday night show after missing last week's programme with flu.
