After a dramatic TLC pay-per-view which saw Roman Reigns unleash a tirade of physical abuse against Triple H, after The Authority's head helped Sheamus retain his Championship along with The League of Nations, Monday Night Raw was always going to be a dramatic affair.

The Billionaire Princess Stephanie McMahon opened the show, making it her business to tell Roman exactly what she thought of him before laying a couple of slaps across the face and telling the Superstar that his fate would be decided by none other than Mr. McMahon.

When the Chairman of the company arrived at the arena, he brought Roman back out into the ring and asked the man to apologise for what he had done to Triple H, but he was met only with chants of 'No, No, No!' by the crowd and shakes of the head by Roman.

Sheamus then made his way out to the ring to challenge Roman to a WWE World Heavyweight Championship match, right there on Monday Night Raw. Vince asked the crowd what they thought, and they loved the idea, but Vince wasn't going to allow the match to go ahead. Instead, he said there was 'no chance in hell' the match would take place.

Luckily for Roman, his goading of Vince allowed the match to go ahead with one condition. If Roman didn't become the WWE World Heavyweight Champion, he would be fired. Then going to shake Roman's hand, Vince landed a low blow and strutted backstage.

With his career hanging in the balance, Roman managed to bring his year of 'almost got it' to its climax, finally becoming the WWE World Heavyweight Champion despite the attempted distractions by Mr. McMahon at ringside.

Superman Punching the Chairman, Roman kicked out of a Brogue Kick before Spearing Sheamus for the win, bringing the Irishman's one-month reign to an end - but what will happen when the two have their rematch? Only time will tell.
