With a final three consisting of Ginger Minj, Pearl and Violet Chachki, RuPaul had a hugely difficult job in deciding just which would be crowned the winner of RuPaul's Drag Race season seven, but things finally came to a head in last night's finale, with the $100,000 grand prize being given to Violet.

Not having to lip-sync for her life throughout the entire season, Violet's gone on to debut the first single from her upcoming EP 'GAGGED', titled 'Bettie' and of course, featuring some adult themes.

Violet had some incredible moments this season, with one in particular sticking in the mind of judge Michelle Visage who we spoke to earlier this year.

"I loved Violet Chachki's corset moment, it was pretty amazing." she told us.

Miss Congeniality of the season and taking home $5,000 was Katya who proved to be an incredibly popular queen not only with the public, but with the crowd who gathered to celebrate the season.

Rumours are now circulating that All Stars 2 is being planned, but what we can confirm is that casting for the eighth season of Drag Race is underway and is expected to broadcast on Logo next year.

Meanwhile, RuPaul's Drag Race season 4 premiered on TruTV in the UK last night and will continue to bring the show to UK audiences via broadcast television.
