Gail (Helen Worth) has organised a pre - wedding celebratory meal for both families, and despite Eileen's (Sue Cleaver) initial reluctance she's surprised to find herself having a great time! David (Jack P Shepherd) has obviously been missed off the invitation list and feels lonely as he listens to the festivities inside the Platts. Shooting cans in the Morton's garden, he tells an uninterested Darryl (Jonathan Dixon) that Gail tried to abort him and he doesn't think she'll be happy until he's dead…Meanwhile, Sean's (Antony Cotton) gutted that Marcus (Charlie Condou) hasn't contacted him since he tricked him into revealing the sex of the baby. Later, when he comes back to the pub after some retail therapy, Jamie (Rupert Hill) discovers that he's bought a load of blue baby clothes! Sean confesses to Jamie that he knows the sex and Jamie promises not to tell Violet (Jenny Platt), but its clear that Sean's excited at the prospect of having a son and obviously sees himself as the father. How will Violet react when she discovers that he's gone behind her back? Maria's (Samia Smith) touched that Liam (Rob James-Collier) has bought her such a lovely gift and feeling the need to reciprocate, surprises him with a puppy! Liam is bemused by the gift and stammers his thanks, but will he keep the pooch? Elsewhere, Fiz (Jennie McAlpine) is getting increasingly annoyed that she and John (Graeme Hawley) never seem to be able to spend any time together alone and when the Websters accost them in the pub she's exasperated! However, when Rosie (Helen Flanagan) starts to flirt with John he feels so uncomfortable that he quickly makes his excuses and leaves. Fiz is delighted, but John's unnerved, will he call things off with Rosie before he gets in too deep?
