You are abreast of all the news and are able to act quickly as a result. 

On the other hand if you were unable to find a pulse, perhaps you are lagging behind and need to pay closer attention to what is going on around you. Your current attitude might be hindering you at work or in your homelife. 

To hear the rhythmical, beating sound of a pulse in your dream might refer to something that is a comfort to you became of its consistency. 

This could be a person who is always there for you if you need them to be or something you rely on to always keep you calm- you depend on it to keep going. 

To hear irregularities when listening to a pulse indicates a loss of faith in this person or the thing you’ve become reliant on. You may be worried that this constant is about to change. This could be a good thing if you have become too dependent, or the dream could be acting as a warning to you not to let it/them slip away.

To see someone in your dream and feel your pulse race might refer to an attraction you have towards this person. In which case, do you need to tell them how you feel? If this partnership would be ill-fitting, how can you encourage those feelings to fade?
