Eating insects provides a healthy dose of protein, and crickets are sources of great nutrition, with a serving of 100g providing over 53% of your recommended daily allowance of iron.

Meatsnacks Group Marketing Manager Jennifer Macdonald-Nethercott comments: "With beef biltong already a popular snack our decision to expand the product range and develop a cricket biltong will allow us to tap into an adventurous new market. We've been playing around with the idea to introduce a new offering into our product range and with the trend of insects becoming more popular we feel that this is the time to explore our wilder side."

Tony continues his jungle journey in I'm A Celebrity tonight (November 18), 9pm on ITV.

'The Christmas Album' is out November 27 with lead single 'Shake Up Christmas' released the week prior on November 20.
