Last night (March 31), Dallas Cormier was sent packing from the Big Brother Canada house when a 5-3 vote saw him evicted, allowing Maddy at least another week in the house.

We caught up with Dallas to talk about his game, broken alliances and more.

Now that you've had a little time to reflect, where do you think your Big Brother Canada game went wrong?

I think that personally maybe I aligned myself with the wrong people. I have a big thing with loyalty myself and, the people that I aligned myself with and had their backs, I feel like they didn't have my backs as much or as often. I feel like maybe I could've played a little bit more under the radar. I'm not saying I regret the way I played but, I just feel at the end of the day, I aligned myself with people that had hidden agendas and people that were playing a selfish game. The wool was over my eyes a little bit - that's where I went wrong. I should have picked stronger allies.

How do you feel about your whole Big Brother Canada experience?

I'm extremely grateful for my experience. To be handpicked from over 10,000 applicants, I feel like that's such a humbling and great experience. I didn't get to win the show, I'm a little bit disappointed about that, but the whole feeling about it - it's a situation only a handful of people get to experience in a lifetime. I was fortunate enough to be picked and I'm overwhelmed with joy. I'm still extremely grateful even though I've been evicted.

What did you think of the brothers twist this year? Could they win the game?

The brothers twist was really interesting. I like the brothers. There was a point in my game where I thought they were gonna separate, so I was gonna tend to backdoor them at one situation, but I like the brothers. I don't know if they could win the game. They're socially great in the house, they have no enemies but the thing is, I feel it's gonna be real tough. If Phil excels at one thing and Nick drags him down or vice versa, it could be the downfall to them ultimately. They have my blessing to go far and I really hope they do.

What about the international houseguests? Could either Tim or Nikki pick up the win?

Absolutely not. We had discussions amongst the Canadian houseguests that it wouldn't be a bad idea to take Nikki or Tim to the end, because there's no way a Canadian jury is gonna hand off $100,000 to an international houseguest, so I can see them being in the game for a long time, but there's absolutely no way Tim or Nikki will win this season of Big Brother.

One of Loveita or Kelsey will go back into the house, but the houseguests have to unanimously choose who. Who do you think they'll choose and why?

I think at this point it's a popularity contest and I think that Kelsey will go back into the house. There's just more numbers going with Kelsey at this point. You've got Raul, Jared, Mitch and Cassandra strongly making cases. Everybody's close and has a little bit of pull with somebody in the house. I wouldn't be surprised one bit if Kelsey makes it back in there, even knowing I would like to see Loveita in that house.

What do you make of Tim's strategy this past week as HOH, bringing Big Brother Australia nominations to Canada?

I didn't like it personally. I think he basically tried to let the house do all the dirty work for him. It's not a bad strategy on Tim's behalf, it's actually fairly smart but I think he copped out a little bit. You can't play Big Brother under the radar the whole game, you've gotta go out and make big swings at points. I feel like he let the crowd do its thing and said, 'this is what you guys wanted, this is what you're gonna get', so he doesn't have to suffer any kind of consequences or retaliation.

Do you regret not taking part fully in his nominations with the gummy koalas?

No I don't. I feel like I was playing a little bit of Tim's game. He nominated himself in Big Brother Australia, I was doing the same thing. It kinda backfired a bit, I know that, but this is Big Brother. Every decision I made, I thought about and I just said, if the whole house doesn't wanna come together and say, 'we're not doing your koala bear gummy nominations Tim', they're just gonna partake and play his kind of game, I was basically trying to start a movement and say, 'we don't have to do that guys, we can do it this way'. But you need solidarity in the group and you need unity, and unfortunately I couldn't get any of that in return.

Who would you like to see evicted next from the house and why?

I would like to see Maddy get evicted next to be brutally honest. I feel like she's playing a real selfish game. I know at the end of the day there's only one winner in Big Brother Canada, but I had her back from day one and she basically tried to chop me up and leave me to the side as soon as me and Ramsey were on the block and, it really went into a whole new level when she was renominated when Ramsey won the POV. For her to sit there and call me a liar when I've never lied to her, I always looked out for her and had her best interest, it just showed the amount of class she really had. I wouldn't mind seeing her in the same spot I am next week.

Make a prediction - who's going to end up in the final three?

That's a really good question. Big Brother, you never know the twists you're gonna get and what could happen and who's leaving and going. I wouldn't count out the brothers, I wouldn't count out Tim and I wouldn't count out Jared as well.

What were some of your highlights from your time in the house?

You know, basically from start to finish. It's been a crazy rollercoaster of emotions, experiences... I basically helped Joel pop his first bottle of champagne... Playing truth or dare with the houseguests was always fun... The competitions were tough but, if you could win one or two you felt such a high sense of accomplishment - just the whole situation from A-Z, it was just so amazing. It's hard to pinpoint just one but I think maybe when I won my first competition and showed that I can be a competitor in that house, was a personal one. Initially, being the first houseguest to walk through the BBCAN Grand, that was cool. The list goes on and on.
