As one of the biggest players in the house, fans were shocked to see Bruno Ielo sent packing this Wednesday after granting the chance to win a superpower to both Brittnee and Sarah. When Brittnee won that power, she pulled out the biggest save of the season, pulling both herself and Godfrey off the block and out of the firing live.
She was then able to put two of her fellow houseguests up for eviction, and so she chose Zach and Bruno. Shocked, houseguests had to immediately vote on who to evict, and Bruno was sent packing in a unanimous 4-0 vote.
Following his eviction, we got the chance to put some questions to Bruno about his time in the house. Find out what he had to say below.
A huge twist has seen you sent out of the house - have you had time to let it sink in?
You know, I have had some time to let it sink in. It was a late night last thinking about it. I always knew if I were to leave the house it would have to be with a twist. If I had time to work my way out of the block I would definitely be able to do it. It was a great move by Brittnee, it was a big twist and she pulled it off.
Where do you think your game went wrong this week?
I think my game started going wrong when me and Sarah went head to head. I always kept calm, cool and collected, but last week on the Wednesday night of the triple eviction, we kind of came to blows a little bit. I think that's where I let my temper get a little bit the best of me, and I think that's when it started to go wrong.
If there's another twist to bring a jury member back into the game, why should it be you?
I think it should be me because I am here to play. I am a gamer, I'm here to make some moves, I'm here to put on a show and I'm also here to win the money. If I were to get back in that house, I definitely wouldn't let anybody down. I'd come in guns blazing and I wouldn't hold back.
Who would you like to see walk into the Jury House next?
I would like to see, I'd say Sarah walk in next. We just played a similar game, even though I respect it a lot, I would like to see her walk in next.
If you had to predict who will make the final three at this point, who would you say?
Final three at this point, I'm gonna say Ashleigh because she's sitting alright, she has some good shields in front of her. Probably Pili, and I'm going to say, I'm hoping Godfrey.
And if you had to vote for a winner right now, who would you vote for and why?
If I had to vote for a winner right now? If Godfrey was at the end I would definitely pick him, I love the guy, I think he played a really good game. At the same time, if Sarah makes it to the end, she also played a fantastic game and she might get my vote as well. Between Godfrey and Sarah, I'm a loyal guy, I'd have to give it to Godfrey.
What have been some of your favourite moments in the house?
My absolute favourite moment, no doubt about it, was when I got that card on my birthday from my kids. That meant so much to me, it was the best present I've ever received in my life and it will never be topped. I absolutely loved that.
What antics do you think you and your fellow jury members might be getting up to in the Jury House?
Oh I'm sure we're gonna get into a lot of mischief in the next couple of weeks! I can't wait to see what we get into. (laughs)
Finally, which of your fellow houseguests past or present do you hope to keep in touch with outside of the house?
I really hope and I actually know that Bobby and Godfrey and myself will definitely stay in touch and be seeing a lot of each other. They don't live very far from me - just under an hour plane ride or a four hour drive. Those are my two closest friends in the house, and I definitely will be seeing them when it's all done.
Anyone you won't be seeing?
A lot of 'em! (laughs) Yeah...
