Celebrity Big Brother summer of 2016 has kicked off, with 15 famous faces entering the infamous household for four weeks of fun, drama and torment.

Amongst them there's a national treasure, an iconic model and a platinum-selling singer - find out a little more about each of those vying for your votes below!

Aubrey O'Day, 32

Aubrey says she's excited to get to know her fellow housemates, saying she finds that "anyone and everyone can change you for the better." She doesn't want to live with "anyone negative, a downer or anyone that complains too much. Someone that takes life or themselves too seriously... I like leaders not followers," and describes herself as "full of gumption". She's also dating former Jersey Shore castmember Pauly D, so no romance in the house for her!

Christopher Biggins, 67

Describing himself in three words as "fun", "happy" and "gorgeous", Biggins is a national treasure who's "looking forward to meeting some new people". However he's admitted that he won't get along with "anyone with a big ego, or bigoted" in the house...

Chloe Khan, 25

"I'm most looking forward to showing people who I really am," says Chloe Khan, who's gone from X Factor reject to model and businesswoman. She says: "I don't want to live with miserable or negative people or someone who overtly fancies me that I'm not interested in," and describes herself as "Alien, fabulous and champagne!"

Frankie Grande, 33

Brother to global pop sensation Ariana Grande, Frankie already has some experience in the Big Brother house, but in a very different version of the game in the States. He says: "What I'm looking forward to the most is having some fun with my peers. The world has turned into such a terrible place of late. I'm looking forward to escaping it and just having fun in the house!" In the US, Frankie finished fifth and will be hoping to better that position during his time in CBB.

Grant Bovey, 55

"Anyone messy would be a nightmare for me," says Grant Bovey, admitting he's "borderline OCD". Describing himself as "persistent, impatient and thoughtful," Grant admits he'd love to change public opinion of himself in the house, having lived the life of a tabloid love rat.

Heavy D, 43

Heavy D ponders whether the show will "make or break" him, and says he'd "hate to live with another Heavy D because I couldn't wind him up!" His signature catchphrase is 'Boom!', and he's become a household name for those who watch Storage Hunters UK.

James Whale, 65

A man of few words, James went into the house claiming "men and women can never be equal". He says he'd hate to be stuck in the house with "A Bible bashing American" and is looking forward to "a rest from the outside world".

Katie Waissel, 30

Katie says she loves an adventure, and is "excited to see how my life hacks play out in such a different environment". She describes herself as "fun, happy and loving" and says she's grown up from the girl we all met during her time on The X Factor.

Lewis Bloor, 26

This former TOWIE star is "looking forward to spending the hottest month of the year having one big pool party," but would "least like to live with grumpy and petty people who can't let small things go for the good of the house". He says he's not afraid of confrontation and describes himself as "underestimated and overachieving".

Marnie Simpson, 24

Another member of the Geordie Shore gang to enter the house, Marnie says she's "really nosey" and so is "hoping everyone has some amazing stories" to tell. She doesn't like "judgemental or condescending people" and isn't afraid to stick up for herself, because "that's what Geordie girls are like".

Renee Graziano, 46

Renee says "Any man that raises a hand in any culture - as far as I'm concerned - deserves their hands on the chopping block," and she's a woman that's probably seen even worse than that in her time. Her father's a huge name in the mob world, and her ex-husband used to be a big deal before he turned into what the mob lifestyle calls a 'rat' - somebody who tattles on fellow mobsters to the police. She's "looking forward to testing my patience living with strangers and building relationships", and isn't afraid to admit she would love to win the show.

Ricky Norwood, 27

Having served his time on EastEnders as Fat Boy, Ricky Norwood is excited to "meet new people" and "do new things", but doesn't want to be housed with "someone who is unfair and unjust". Though there have been scandals about Ricky in the tabloids, he still sees himself as a "calm, funny, honest" person.

Saira Khan, 46

Saira says she'd hate to live with "racists, homophobes and chauvinists", but is looking forward to "meeting all the different personalities" in the house, whilst "enjoying some time away from reality". She says she's "confident, determined and sassy" and is the latest Loose Woman to enter the house.

Stephen Bear, 26

This Ex on the Beach star made such an impact during his initial series that he was asked back for the upcoming All Stars show! He's hoping to "take it easy for a month", but would not want to live with "someone who's arrogant, who's used to getting their own way all the time and people who take themselves too seriously." Confident in himself, he says he's "toned, tanned and fit" and isn't afraid of getting close to the ladies in front of the cameras.

Samantha Fox, 50

Describing herself as a big fan of the show, Sam doesn't want to live with "a miserable person, as I've got a great sense of humour and I like to have a lot of fun." Often described as the most famous Page 3 girl of all time, she can't wait to meet some new people.

Celebrity Big Brother continues for the next four weeks on Channel 5.
