Sarah Greene Off Dancing On Ice

TV presenter Sarah Greene has become the first celebrity to be kicked off ITV1 show Dancing on Ice. Greene found herself in the bottom two alongside singer Samantha Mumba, and was voted off by the five judges. Greene said: "I've loved all of it - and this is a fantastic hobby to have. I'm going to continue." The remaining 11 contestants include singer Gareth Gates, ex-Emmerdale actress Linda Lusardi, and Former Blue Peter presenter Tim Vincent. Former Olympic champions Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean have returned to coach the stars, and opened the show by performing a dazzling routine to the Shirley Bassey classic Let's Get This Party Started. Greene, best known for co-presenting the children's BBC show Going Live, said: "It's been such a fantastic experience and a fantastic sport. "I just can't wait to get back to all my friends at Slough ice rink. Everyone should take it up." Former Hear'say star Suzanne Shaw, GMTV reporter Michael Underwood, and Aggie Mackenzie, who fronts the Channel 4 show How Clean is your House?, have also been training for the programme.

Tennis star Greg Rusedski, ex-Hollyoaks actor Chris Fountain, sports presenter Natalie Pinkham and javelin thrower Steve Backley complete the line-up.
