Big Brother is making its British return on Monday (June 5), as a brand new group of civilian housemates come together for an unforgettable summer. This time round, Channel 5 have decided to reveal some of the housemates before launch night, so without further ado, here are the first six housemates revealed for Big Brother UK 2017

Lotan Carter

At 28-years-old, Essex boy Lotan is a member of the dance group Dreamboys. He’s got a celebrity connection in that his uncle is Louie Spence and whilst he admits he’s “never not had attention from women,” he wants to “challenge the stereotype of strippers”. Asked why he wants to appear on Big Brother, he replied: “I want to lay it all bare and put myself through the test in this unique and intense experience.”

Kayleigh Morris

Also 28-years-old, Kayleigh is hoping “to prove that she’s successful and isn’t a bimbo” during her time in the house. As a clothing concession manager from Port Talbot in Wales, Kayleigh isn’t going into the house a single woman. She’s no stranger to reality TV, having already appeared on MTV’s Ex on the Beach, so why now Big Brother? “You will be put in an environment where you will either sink or swim with lots of different personalities,” she says.

Husband and Wife, Imran and Sukhvinder Javeed

Raised in a strict Muslim family, 39-year-old Imran is an entrepreneur from Leeds, who’s entering the house with his 38-year-old wife Sukhvinder. The pair met when they were eight-years-old, and the two had to sneak out at night to meet, because their relationship was frowned upon. Imran wants to show Britain what a modern Muslim looks like, whilst Sukhvinder thinks, “if you aren’t on TV then who are you?” She was raised in a strict Sikh family, but got married to Imran when she was 17 in an Islamic ceremony.

Sisters, Deborah and Hannah Agboola

At 25-years-old, Deborah is a digital analyst from London, who’s entering the house with her 23-year-old sister, Hannah. Both single, Deborah prides herself on being a strong-willed woman who’s unafraid to speak her mind, and says her Nigerian background has given her a strong sense of values. Hannah meanwhile, who’s also the current reigning Miss Nigeria UK wants to “inspire the youth of today’s UK-born-Nigerians to embrace their culture”. She says she’ll use her influence in the house to guide youngsters away from crime and gangs to lead a better life.

Big Brother begins at 8.30pm on Monday, June 5 on Channel 5.
