Strictly Come Dancing

Strictly Come Dancing

It looks like another summer of having to choose between your two favourite TV shows after the BBC have said they have no plans to move Strictly Come Dancing in the schedules so it won’t clash with The X Factor.

Despite the fact that fans of both shows are up in arms about having to choose one or the other, the BBC aren’t going to let X Factor win the scheduling competition, despite the fact that TXF secured the most viewers last year.

Apparently the Beeb are upping their game this year though, and in the hope of nabbing some of ITV’s viewers, they’re planning on upping their celebrity budget in the hope of securing some really big names.

But whilst it’s all well and good the two shows having a barny at each other, it’s ultimately the licence paying public who lose out, as we have to pick between our two favourite shows! Surely having one on after the other would mean WE wouldn’t have to pick, and the BBC and ITV would probably get equal ratings as everyone would switch over after one show had finished?
